One night after supper,  I realized I had been lied to by ‘‘society’’. 

''They'' told me that all I needed to be happy was a good job, a good woman, two cars and a nice place to live, and I'd be ‘‘all set’’. 

Yet, having all that, I was totally miserable. 

It took me 30-minute ‘‘pep talks’’ to get to work most days. And I had to do drugs in the parking lot on the way back to wash it off my memory.

I was a cynical, atheist, corporate zombie at the time. So when I looked up and said:

‘‘There has to be more to life than this!’’ — It wasn’t even a prayer, because I didn’t believe in God at the time. (Sorry.)

And then… ⚡ KRRRSSSHHH⚡

What felt like a lightning rod hit me on top of the head.  

Over the next few weeks... 

I quit drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, junk food, and essentially became a yogi.

Then I combined my marketing degree, door-to-door sales and coaching experience into a messaging algorithm used by authors, coaches, experts and speakers to market their business online.

(Everyone from crystal ball reading ladies and chakra people to motivational speakers and Deepak Chopra.)

About 2 years in, immersed in spiritual study, as I was about to leave the world and become a monk… 

My mentor told me...

‘‘What's wrong with you? You're not a monk, you are a rockstar!’’ 

(I had forgotten about that.)

So I toured internationally, recorded albums, and had songs on the radio.

We also toured the province seven times in Quebec's biggest and best venues. 

Meanwhile, I combined my stage presence principles and semi-monk-level mindset tools to teach musicians how to not suck on stage. 

Seeing the success my clients were getting and the process I was using, my mentor told me...

‘‘What's wrong with you? Don't teach that to musicians, teach that to business owners!’’

So I combined my messaging algorithm, stage presence principles, and semi-monk-level mindset tools to create a new speaking system helping business owners master public speaking.

About 2 years in, seeing the results my clients were getting (standing ovations, six-figure days, becoming known in their industry, etc.)

... But I was burning out, the same mentor told me: 

‘‘What's wrong with you? Double your coaching prices immediately.

And create a lower barrier-to-entry product for more people to benefit from your system without your personal involvement.''
